Logging Hours
Anant’s contracts with its clients and contractors are primarily time and materials contracts. Thus, it is critical time records are entered promptly and accurately to ensure a smooth billing and payment process for all parties involved. Accurate and timely reporting of time worked also informs project managers and clients used and remaining resources for current and future initiatives.
Anant’s policy is for all employees and contractors to enter their time daily and to submit it in the project management system at the end of each week. Anant currently uses Atlassian’s Jira and the Tempo plugin to track and submit time. Anant’s work weeks are Sunday to Saturday, based on the North American Eastern Time Zone. Each week closes for time entries at 23:59 Eastern Time and you will need to work with your supervisor to reopen your time sheet if you need to adjust it.
