In Apache Cassandra Lunch #35: Spark and Cassandra, we cover a few different data operations, which include: using Spark to take data from one Cassandra table, transforming it, and writing it into another Cassandra table, and deleting data from Cassandra tables using Spark. We also discuss how to delete data using another method, which can be found in the resources section below. In the live recording of Cassandra Lunch #35 embedded below, we have a live demo where we show you how to use local Apache Spark with dockerized Apache Cassandra to do these data operations.
