In Apache Cassandra Lunch #39, we cover General Updates to Apache Cassandra’s currently supported versions 3.11 and 3.0, an update to Cassandra 4.0 (which is in Beta), and an update to Cass-Operator (new version 1.6.0 released).

Additionally, we mention the Google Summer of Code program, which allows students from all over the world to contribute to Open Source projects over the summer. Lastly, we bring up the concept of Flamegraphs for Cassandra and Kubernetes and their role in visualizing and helping understand Cassandra and Kubernetes garbage collection optimization.
