What is DataStax?

DataStax is a database platform, that uses Apache Cassandra, which is built for the performance and availability demands of Web, Mobile, and IoT applications. It gives enterprises a secure always-on database that remains operationally simple when scaled in a single datacenter or across multiple data centers and clouds.

Its flagship product is a NoSQL database called DataStax Enterprise. DSE was designed to provide real-time application performance and heavy analytics on the same physical infrastructure. Over the years it kept developing and now it has advanced security controls, graph database models, operational analytics and advanced search capabilities. Some of the world’s most renown businesses like McDonald’s, WalMart, Delta, and eBay all use DataStax to power their business operations.

Who uses DataStax?

On top of helping our enterprise clients with DataStax and Sitecore projects we also provide companies with project planning workshops and Virtual CIOs.

Cassandra.Link is a knowledge base that our team created to act as a central POI for all things Apache Cassandra. Our goal with Cassandra.Link was to not only fill the gap of Planet Cassandra but we want to bring the Cassandra community, no matter what variant they use, together. Feel free to reach out if you wish to collaborate with us on this project in any capacity.

We build and manage business platforms. Is your project going south? Did your vendor screw up again (that never happens)? Let’s talk for 15 minutes.
